anaerobic digestion
an anaerobic digester uses micro-organisms to break down biodegradable material. The unit creates a rich bio-gas for energy production.
anaerobilc digesters are suitable for small to large commercial facilities like farms, schools or hotels.
advantages of anaerobic digesters
Anaerobic digester greatly reduce the emission of landfill gas into the atmosphere. The nutrient-rich solids left after digestion can be used as fertiliser. Almost any organic material can be processed with anaerobic digestion including biodegradable waste materials such as paper, grass clippings, leftover food, sewage and animal waste.
